BIG BLUE ENERGy SCHOLARSHIP
Benefiting Student Leaders at Tennessee State University
Support Tennessee State University's Future Ready vision by investing in student leaders who will change Nashville and beyond.
The Big Blue Energy Scholarship is a need-based leadership scholarship at Tennessee State University, designed to support students who demonstrate academic promise, leadership potential, and commitment to their communities; especially first-generation and low-income students who might otherwise be unable to afford higher education.
To qualify, applicants must be current TSU students with a minimum 2.5 grade point average who have demonstrated leadership in campus or community contexts, regardless of involvement with specific campus programs.
This scholarship recognizes a critical reality: Outstanding leaders exist everywhere, but not all students have the financial resources to pursue their education fully. By removing financial barriers, we create space for the next generation of Black leaders to focus on their studies, develop their voice, and serve their communities with clarity and purpose.
This scholarship is made possible through the generous support of individuals and businesses in Nashville and beyond, who believe in the transformative power of education at HBCUs like Tennessee State University, institutions that have always been birthplaces of Black leadership, scholarship, and collective liberation.
Your gift doesn't just fund tuition. It invests in future leaders who will change systems, serve communities, and refuse to accept the world as it is.
Donations are processed through Tennessee State University Foundation and are tax-deductible.
